The Air Jordan 3 "Chlorophyll" is a special edition of the third Air Jordan that pays tribute to another sneaker that was also designed by Tinker Hatfield. The light grey, white, black, and green color scheme is a reference to the original Air Trainer 1, the cross-training model that ushered in a whole new category of footwear after it debuted in 1987 — one year before Hatfield’s Air Jordan 3 was released.
